The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Saturday, January 27th, 2018 at the age of 59 years. Beloved husband to Nicole (née Parisien) McLaughlin. Son of Raymond and Leona (née Power) McLaughlin. Loving father of Chelsea (Dan), Baby Roger Jr. (predeceased), Ray (Sandra), Dean (Kayla), Crystal (Justin), Shelby and Sherry-Lynn. Dear brother of Raymonde Benoit (Jean-Claude), Jeff (Claire), Linda Bene (Joe) and Dennis (Carole). Cherished grandfather to Sawyer, Malaya, Mekhi, Anthony, Jeremiah, Owen, Bronson, Madison, Amery, Amsden and Amara. Sadly missed and loved by many nieces, nephews, relatives, co-workers and friends. Roger loved to play and spend time with his grandkids. He enjoyed his job where his co-workers were like family. He was a fan of the Boston Bruins, enjoyed fishing, hunting, blueberry picking, playing cards, going to the casino and bingo. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at the Maison McCulloch Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Thursday, February 1st, 2018 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will held on Friday, February 2nd, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean-de Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
