It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Wednesday, October 4th, 2017 at the age of 63. Son of the late Frank (Poppa) Burton and May Dunstan. Beloved husband of 44 years to Wendy Burton (Campbell). Loving father of Shawna Burton (JP Lepage), Darryl Burton (Patric Senson) and Daniel Burton (Serafina Baldassarre-Burton). Cherished grandfather of Aandon, Nolaan, Connor, Edyta and Gavyn. Dear brother of Brian (Suzanne), Janice and Angela. Lovingly remembered by his brothers-in-law Jack (Linda) and Kennedy (Wendy) and by his nieces and nephews. Charlie will be fondly remembered for his significant contribution and dedicated service to the Ontario Mine Rescue program. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Sunday, October 8th, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. followed by a service in the Chapel.
