The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Husband of the late Jeanne (née Dufresne) Germain. Son of the late Euclide and of the late Emma (née Montreuil) Germain. Beloved father of Jean-Charles (late Reta) and Norman (Kathy) both of Regina, Suzanne Pelipiak (Kevin) of London and Ellen Spencer (Noel) of Sudbury. Predeceased by his son Michael (Elaine of Regina). Dear brother of Rene (Louise) of Vernon, B.C. Predeceased by his sister Jeanne Koski and by his brothers David and Roy. Cherished grandfather of David, Adrienne, Paula-Jean, Christopher, Renee, Andy, Jim, Caroline, Mike and great-grandfather of Michael, Gabriel, Jodi, Penelope, Carson, Nolan, and Nora. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. in the Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, donations (by cheque only) to the Maison Vale Hospice would be appreciated.
