It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Emilienne Lanthier at Health Sciences North on Friday, July 7th at the age of 87. She was born on September 13th, 1929 in St-Marc, Abitibi and grew up in Amos, Quebec. She was a woman with the most generous heart and who without a doubt lived life to its fullest. She will be greatly missed by her close friend Reginald Blais. She was always up for an adventure. She was a wonderful mother to her four children, Denise Walli (Jack), Diane Ross (Rene), Richard Lanthier (Line Goulet, Nancy Lanthier) and Pauline McMahon (Don). She was an amazing grandmother (Memere) to fourteen grandchildren, Denise, Monique, Joanne, Donald (predeceased), Marcel, Michel, Norm, Anita, Patricia, Amanda, Christine, Crystal, Zachary and Cody. She will be sadly missed by her twenty great-grandchildren and by her friends Marguerite and Pierrette. She will be remembered for her love of animals and music. The family would like to thank all the staff at Health Sciences North especially the staff in ICU for the amazing care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. followed by a service in the Chapel at 4 p.m. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
