It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing in Val Caron on Sunday, September 24th, 2017 at the age of 94. Daughter of the late Ferdinand and Delia (née Lacourcière) Charron. Predeceased by her husband James Diotte. Loving mother of Annette (late Bill) Loughren, Hélène (Al) Haines, Diane (late André) Ducharme and André (Louise) Diotte. Predeceased by her daughter Jacqueline Morin. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Sister of Honorald “Tino” Charron. Predeceased by her siblings Fabiola Forgette, Elise Landry and Gérald Charron. Laurette was part of the ``Dames auxiliaires`` and the ``Club senior`` of St-Jean-de-Brébeuf for 11 years. She also volunteered for many years at Pioneer manor. Laurette will always be remembered for her love of cooking and arts and crafts. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family would like to extend a thank you to the Elizabeth Centre and Lasalle Residence for their care and compassion. The family will receive friends and relative at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, on Wednesday September 27th, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9:30p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial to take place at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church Thursday at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made by cheque or online to the charity of your choice. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
