It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Friday, October 6th , 2017 at the age of 83. Son of the late Alphonse Roy and the late Edna Roy (née Paquette). Beloved husband of 57 years to Graziella Roy (née St-Onge). Loving father of Richard Roy, Lynda Goodchild (Tim), Donald Roy (Colleen), Marc Roy (Carole), Gaston Roy (Heather) and Nicole Roy. Cherished “Pepère” of Julie, Cindy, Nicole, Timmy, Jason, Christopher, Tiffany, Jennifer, Natalie, Deirdre, Clarissa and Rachelle. Proud great-grandfather of 10. Dear brother of Cléo, Raymond, Claire, Pierrette and Lorraine. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Clément, Gaston, Bernadette, Demeria and Suzanne. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 after 1 p.m. followed by a service in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Donations by cheque or online to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Kidney Foundation.
