The family announces with sorrow, his passing in Sudbury, Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the age of 67 years. Son of the late Charles and of the late Normande (née Bertrand) Laberge. Beloved father of Rene of Garson. Cherished grandfather of Austin and Justin. Loving brother of Richard and Maurice all of Sudbury, Charles and Lorraine both of Garson, Pierrette (Ray) of Edmonton, Pauline (Hal) and Claire (Lee) all of Toronto. Predeceased by his brother Daniel. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many relatives and friends. Gerald was a jack of all trades and worked for IGA, Dominion, Foodland, Laurentian Insulation, CLI, Lougheed, Wal-Mart, Win Fortune, Sunset Painters, Swiss Chalet as well as roofing and siding. He loved snow plowing. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Thursday, November 23, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
