Peacefully passed away with her family by her side in Sudbury on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the age 77 years. Daughter of the late Irving and the late Elsie (nee Hadow) Sparling. Beloved wife of 59 years to Marcel St-Georges. Loving mother of Wayne (Anne Montgomery), Darlene St-Georges, Tom (Jacqueline Martin) and Greg (Corinne Johnson). Cherished grandmother of Sarah, Ashley, Jesse, Megan and Hunter. Dear sister of Barbara Cayen (Ray), Mary Malmloff (late Allan), Margaret Konkin (Fred), George (Connie), Molly Mislan (Dave) and Earl. Predeceased by her sister Christine Preseault (late Denis) and by her brother Arthur. In her younger years, Madeline lived a healthy life, where she enjoyed walking and cycling. Her greatest joy in life were her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the Chapel at 4 p.m. Donations can be made by cheque or online to the Parkinson’s Society. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
