Condoléances: Len and Sandra my heart weeps with yours at the loss of a loving friend and your sister. Marylynda was indeed a Free Spirit as she followed the beat of her own drum and no one could make her swerve from her path. She was joyful about life right until her last breath.
When she got her small camera a little over a year ago, she was like a child in her exuberance to catch all things she saw as beautiful. Sunsets, sunrises, fireworks, parades, the woman miner on Larch Street, paintings, people, her camera became her diary of life.
It was my great privilege as she got weaker to cook her meals, grocery shop, and do what I could to help her be more comfortable. But when I heard she’d reached out to Len again I was ecstatic for the healing that short time would bring.
I’ll never forget you girl! You taught me so much about giving and receiving in life, and how to face my own cancer with more grace. Love you in this life and the next.
