The family announces with great sorrow the passing in Sudbury of Gérard Benoit, son of the late Albert and late Germaine (née Miller) on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the age of 85 years. He will be missed by his wife of 58 years, Suzette (née Tremblay). He was loved by his children Yves (Gail), Rachel Rodgers (Jeffrey), Jean, Francine Sivazlian (Jack), Chantal Moyer (Larry). His grandchildren, Cassandra, Renée, Josée, Alexandre, Yannick, Mark, Charlea, Talin, Nathaniel, William, Joseph and Gabrielle and great-grandchildren, Amelia, Benjamin, Carter, Chase, Allison, Edward, Alaina and Ella will always have the best memories of him. He was predeceased by his six siblings. His memory will last forever and he will always remain in our hearts. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Saturday, May 5th, 2018 from 7 p.m to 9:30 p.m. and on Sunday, May 6th, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. followed by a service in the Chapel.
