The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Saturday, August 11th, 2018 at the age of 72 years. Son of the late Joseph and late Lilliane (née White) Blanchette. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (née Doucette) Blanchette and the late Dianna (née Parks) Blanchette. Loving father of Carole Blanchette (Matthew Hnatuik), proud grandpa to Samantha, Shawn and Nolan. Estranged father to Angela Blanchette, grandfather to Emmy Southwell. Stepfather of Lynn McCarthy (Scott), Shane Muench (Pat) and Ian MacDonald (Glenda). Grandfather to Alex and Hannah, great-grandfather to Axel. Dear brother of Agnes (Jim), Ray (Suzanne), Lilliane (Jules), Rita (late Albert), Wilfred (Maggie) and Victor. Predeceased by his siblings Albert (late Germaine), Jean-Paul (late Tina) and Adelard (Pauline). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. As per his wishes there will be no visitation or service. Cremation to take place at the COOPERATIVE CREMATORIUM, Chelmsford.
