The family announces with great sorrow her passing at St-Gabriel’s Villa, Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the age of 98 years. Predeceased by her husband Romain Bélanger on January 20th, 1999. Daughter of the late Emile and the late Clara (née Paquette) Rouleau. Loving mother of Romance Methé (Gerry), Claudette Vaillancourt (Armand), Hélène Mainville (Ralph), Richard, Paulette Bélanger (Gaetan), Annette McHugh (Bob), Irène Bélanger, Donald and Normand. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers; Alice Boyer (late Albert), Lorraine Rodrigue (late Roland), Roméo Rouleau (late Marie-Jeanne), René Rouleau (late Orilda), Dolien Rouleau, Dorice Rouleau (late Lilianne). Step sister of late Alfred, late Paul, Marcel, André, Émile, late Yvone, late Anita, Laura, Pauline, Jeannine, Marie-Jeanne and Aline. Cherished grandmother of Diane, Joanne, Sylvie, Robert, Alain, Denis, Lise, André, Anne, Ricky, Kenny, Timmy, Tammy, late André, Kim, Lisa, Tina, Cindy, Maxine, Josée, Joel, great-grandmother to 19 and great-great-grandmother to 3. Laureze was a devoted wife, mother and Memére. Her family always came first; in addition of raising her children she was also the co-owner of Belanger Ready Mix Ltd with her husband and passed on the business to their sons in 2015. She was proud to be an honorary member of the Dame de Fédération and of the Club d’Age D’or in Azilda. She was an avid Bingo player for many years. She will be missed by all who knew her. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 RR 15, Chelmsford, on Friday, August 24th, 2018 from 2 to 4:30 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 25th, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Gabriel’s Villa for the care and compassion towards Mom.
