The family announces with sorrow, his passing at St-Gabriel’s Villa, Thursday, September 13th, 2018 at the age of 87 years. Son of the late Émile and the late Marie (née Bérubé) Charette. Predeceased by his wife Monique Marie (née Grandbois) Charette. Loving father to Nicole Stone (Sam) of Hanmer, Marie-Claire Molder (late Mike) of Niagara Falls, Michel Charette (Yvonne), Lise Dubé (Carl) and Rhéal Charette (Joanne) all of Sudbury and Madeleine Durand (Rod Brown) of Hanmer. Predeceased by his daughter Carole Charette. Dear brother of Sister Paulette. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Alphonse, Albert, Fernand, Laurent, Laurette, Yvonne, Germaine, Pauline, Gaston, Henri, Marcel, Roger and Rhéal. Cherished grandfather to 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In keeping with Roger’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at St-Gabriel’s Villa for the care and compassion towards our father. Donations (by cheque only) to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated. Cremation to take place at the COOPERATIVE CREMATORIUM, Chelmsford.
