In loving memory of Kevin Hirschfeld, 78 years. Peacefully on Sunday April 7, 2013 at Health Sciences North surrounded by loving family. Beloved husband and best friend for 57 years of Ruth (Schreiber). Loving father of Shelley Moreau (Bob), Linda Jones (Roy), Greg (Lise),Tracy Williams (Ian). Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Kevin was truly proud of his family and their accomplishments. Predeceased by his parents Trueman and Caroline Hirschfeld of Nova Scotia. Dear brother of Arthur (Doreen), Trueman (Bev) and Honor (Harry McGrath predeceased). Kevin worked in mining for 23 years. In 1975, Kevin purchased “Flat Broke” and pursued his dream of independent trucking. Kevin and Ruth spent 20 happy winters in St. Pete’s, Florida and summers at camp on Wahnapitae Lake. Kevin loved the outdoors and particularly fishing for the “big one” at Russian Lake. In keeping with Kevin’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
