Nécrologie pour Jean-Louis Henzer
In loving memory of Jean-Louis Henzer who passed away peacefully with family by his side, at Pioneer Manor on Monday Dec 21st, 2015 at the age of 81 years. Son of Emile and Louise (Caillet) Henzer both predeceased. Beloved husband of Evelyne (née Zimmerli) Henzer for 50 years. Loving father of Johnny (Laura), Helena (Gord) and Liliane (Barry). Cherished grandpa to Danielle, Carinna, Martin, Skylar, Braeden, Logen, Delaney, Calleigh and Savy, he was very proud of his grandchildren. Dear brother of Marion(Pierre predeceased), Albert predeceased, Marguerite(Henri) both predeceased, Gilbert, Maurice predeceased (Bertilla), Willy (Jeannette). He will be missed by his siblings, nieces and nephews living in Switzerland and Quebec. Jean-Louis was born in Switzerland on January 6th, 1934. He completed his apprenticeship at the college of Agriculture in Switzerland. On July 1, 1956, he immigrated to Canada with his brother Gilbert, to work on dairy farms. In 1965 he started working as a miner at INCO and retired in 1991 after 26 years. Jean-Louis enjoyed spending many hours perfecting his garden and harvesting his fresh vegetables and berries. He also enjoyed blueberry picking, listening to music, watching sports, walking in the forest, cross country skiing, cooking, making red wine and travelling with his family. He would also enjoy cleaning his driveway to perfection in the winter. He loved spending time with his family and friends enjoying good meals, wine and conversation. The family would like to acknowledge all the special staff and people at Pioneer manor, who helped take care of Jean-Louis, and their kindness they showed to him and his family. At Jean-Louis’ request there will be no public visitation or service. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium. Arrangements entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home.



Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life…
