The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Friday, October 7, 2016 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of late Léon Philion. Daughter of late Josephat and Malvina (née Dequanne) Carrière. Loving mother of Maurice (Sue), Marcel (Denise), RoseAnne Roy (Luc), Lise Anderson (Wayne), Yvonne Roy (Pierre), Roger (Jen), Jeanne and Linda Ritch (Chris). Rita will be missed by many brothers and sisters. Cherished grandmother of 16 grand-children, 29 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday after 9 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday October 12, at 11:00 a.m. at St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Maison Valé Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
