The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Wife of the late Dino “Chief” Tomassini. Daughter of the late John and the late Mary (née Hryniuk) Zilinski. Loving mother of John (Brenda) of Ottawa, Alan of Elliot Lake, Anna (Robert) of Toronto, Joe (Margaret) of Ottawa and Lisa (Stephen) of Hanmer. Cherished Nona to Michael (Chelsea), Julia, Danielle (Nick), Angela (Tyler), Clayton, Haley and Mason. She always had a special twinkle in hey eye when she was spending time with them. Julia is predeceased by her siblings Anne, Irene, Rose, Bill and Peter. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was a woman with many interests but her greatest passion was sharing her culinary successes with others. She leaves behind her traditional family recipes for many to enjoy. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, Monday, April 3, 2017 from 2-4p.m. A celebration of life will follow at 4p.m. at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME.
