Nécrologie pour Albert Lamoureux
LAMOUREUX, Albert 1917- 2018

The family announces with great sadness the passing of Albert on Monday, January 29th, 2018 at the age of 100 years. He passed peacefully at Pioneer Manor surrounded by his family. Son of the late Simeon and late Clara (née Caron) Lamoureux. Beloved husband of Claire (née Lanthier) (predeceased). Loving father to Bob (Svetlana), Michelle and daughter-in-law Pauline. Predeceased by his siblings Adrien, Laurier, Léo, Aldège, Vitaline and Aldéa. Grandfather to Nanette, Colette, John (predeceased), Robert, Vicky, Bobby, Bonnie, Sylvie, Paul, Natalie, Marc and great-grandfather of Samantha, Justin, Jean Robert (Jr.), Marina, Bishop, Tanner, Brooke, Eden, Kurtis, Brenen, Bennett, Mackenzie and Danika. He will be sadly missed by all of his nieces, nephews, cousins and all those whose lives he touched. Albert was “A Good Man”, with a gentle soul and a huge heart. He was a caring man who loved his family, loved his wife and life itself. Not many children can say they have never seen their father get angry, a truly even tempered gentleman. Our father enjoyed a cold beer and a fine cigar, reminiscing of the good old days in Hollywood Florida. His famous line was “You have to eat to be a good lover”. His devotion to Mgr. Coallier has been consistent throughout his life. His favorite prayer was “Lord I may be very busy today, I may forget you, but please don’t forget me”. A heartfelt thank you to his friend and caregiver Sue, and to the Homecare Staff for their kindness over the years. The generosity and warmth of all the Pioneer Manor Staff & friends have made dad’s final year comfortable. A special “Thank you” goes to Connie, Carole, Bev, Jenna, Sandy as well as Dr. Mongeon and Dr. Boro Janicijevic for providing such personal care and attention. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday, January 31st, 2018 at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury from 3 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
