Our dad peacefully passed away at Maison Vale Hospice, his loving family by his side on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the age of 73. Predeceased by his wife Mary Catherine Wilson (Serpell) in 2003. Son of the late Charles and Loretta Wilson (Fitzpatrick). Loving father of Melissa Rainville (Denis) and Meaghan Wilson (Patrick Gaudreau). Cherished grandpa of Owen. Predeceased by his granddaughter Ava. Dear brother of Ted Wilson (Jean), predeceased by his brother Larry Wilson (Linda). Sadly missed by his mother-in-law Mary Ann Serpell (late Roy), many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. and Saturday December 14, 2013 after 12:00 p.m. (noon) Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Church, Sudbury. The family wishes to express a thank you to the medical staff at Health Sciences North, the Cancer Centre and the family at Maison Vale Hospice for their compassionate care of our dad. Donations (by cheque only) in memory of our dad to Maison Vale Hospice would be appreciated.
