It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Sunday, December 10th, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Son of the late Arthur William Bucknell and of the late Audrey (née McLenon) Bucknell. Beloved husband of the late Murielle Bucknell (née Lachance). Loving father of Audrey Hodgins (Kevin) of Espanola, Laurie Andorfer (Bob) of Green Bay, Thomas Bucknell of Webbwood, Ruth Bucknell, Jackie Bent and David Bucknell (Sherri) all in Alberta. Cherished grandfather to 10 grandchildren, and great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Roy Edward (Anja), John Victor and Elizabeth Joyce. Predeceased by his brother Ronald James. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Bill was retired from Inco. He enjoyed spending time on Manitoulin Island. He was an avid fisherman and loved tending to his garden. As per his request there will be no visitation or service. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home, Sudbury.
