The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Marcelle (née Lafleur) Sonier. Son of the late Dominique and the late Catherine (née Savoie) Sonier. Loving father of Dennis (Veronica) of St-Thomas, Robert (Louise) of Orleans, Guy (Carole), Raymond (Suzanne) and Colette Gaudet (Michel) all of Azilda. Dear brother of Thérèse Godin (Ovila), Jean-Claude, Annette McLaughlin (Marc), Ella Robichaud (Jean Claude), Côme (Blanche), and Almida Dion (late Jean). Predeceased by his siblings Antoine, Aldoria (Linda) Dominique (late Leona), Leonie Gower (late Fulton), Roger (late Germaine), Albinie (Pearl), Filicien (late Ella), Normand (late Edna), Viola Sonier and Donald (late Denise). Eddie loved to tend to his garden, trim his cedar trees, loved to make people laugh and was always joking. Eddie was very proud of his Acadian heritage, and his family always came first. At Adéodat’s request there will be no visitations or service. Donations to St-Joseph Villa can be made by cheque only. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Chelmsford.
