The family announces with sorrow her passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, February 5th, 2013 at the age of 91 years. Wife of the late Omer Ernest Asselin. Daughter of the late Patrick and the late Eva (née Fraser) Scully. Loving mother of Richard (Nancy), Sherry Gervis (Robert), Mark (Patrick Peters) and Neil (John Sebastiano). Predeceased by her son Michael (Carol). Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Cecilia Sherwood, Basil Scully (late Dorothea), Bernard Scully (June), Frank Jerome Scully (Colette) and Eugene Scully (late Bab’s). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Lynn, David (Brigitte), Lisa, Patrick, Carrie, Christopher, Vicki, Leah, Rachel, and her great-grandchildren Tanner, Jayden, Gabriella, Henry, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was a former member of the Christ the King Church, C.W.L., Jubilee Club and Daughters of Isabella. Special thanks to the Staff at Pioneer Manor for their kind and compassionate care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. and after 12 p.m. on Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 8, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Christ the King Church, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Foundation or Christ the King building fund would be greatly appreciated.
