The family announces with sorrow her passing in Sudbury on Sunday, June 2nd, 2013 at the age of 54 years. Beloved daughter of Lorraine and Ted (William) Evershed (both predeceased). Dear sister to Morris (Dianne), Douglas (predeceased), Don (Liisa), Kenny (Dee), Michael and Larry (Irma) Paquin. Loving aunt to many nieces, nephews and extended family at L’Arche. Lorrie was a loving and caring person who enjoyed music, bowling, the Drop In and work at Jarret Centre. Her sense of humor and lively personality endeared her to family and many friends. Many thanks to L’Arche Homes, especially everyone at Bethany House where Lorrie resided happily for the last ten years. Special thanks to the Maison Vale Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, on Thursday, June 6th, 2013 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Church, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers donations (by cheque only) to L’Arche Sudbury, Maison Vale Hospice or the Chelmsford Drop In center would be appreciated.
