The family announces with sorrow his passing in Lively on Tuesday, September 17th, 2013 at the age of 41 years. Son of the late James Sr. and the late Isabelle (née Tremblay) Armstrong. Beloved husband of Christine Bouffard of Lively. Loving step-father of Désirée and Cédric both of Lively. Dear brother of Beverley Sabourin (Richard) of Hanmer, Sharon Armstrong (Guy Gagné) of Garson, Barbara Young and James Jr. “Jimmy” (Wendy) both of Sudbury. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews David, Darryl, Danielle, David, James, Kelly, Rebecca, Victoria, Emmaly, David, Ella, Nolan and by his canine friend D.O.G. (DeeOhGee). Greg was a passionate, generous and gentle man with a big heart and kind soul. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. He lived life as he wanted and was always the jokester in the room. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved animals. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time at Low Water Lake with family and friends. Greg will forever be remembered for his superior culinary skills as a chef and for sharing his soups and special dishes with friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Sunday, September 29th, 2013 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to the Wild at Heart Wildlife Refuge Centre would be appreciated.
