It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Thursday, December 5th, 2013 at the age of 52. Predeceased by his parents Clément and Thérèse (Campeau) O’Bumsawin. Beloved partner of Sean Parker. Loving father of Marie-Ange O’Bumsawin (Donald McPhee), Josée O’Bumsawin and Luc O’Bumsawin. Predeceased by his step-son Adam Snoddon. Dear brother of André (Faye Laurie) and Suzanne Yantha (David). Cherished step-grandfather of Mackenzie Snoddon. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Pierre volunteered and dedicated a lot of his time with the Sudbury Navy League Cadet Corps. He was fortunate to have served for a couple years as a commanding officer. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Tuesday, December 10th, 2013 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Funeral service will be will be held Wednesday, December 11th, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
