It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Wednesday, December 18th, 2013 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Eileen (nee Hawco) Hickey of Dowling. Son of the late Stephen and of the late Gertrude (née Dwyer) Hickey. Loving father of Jerome (Diane) of Chelmsford, Kenneth (Nancy) of Porcupine and Todd (Tracy) of Levack. Predeceased by his daughter Jacqueline Hickey. Dear brother of George, Tom, Sarah “Sally” Kelly (late Lawrence), Mary Hickey (late Phillip Belanger) and Maudie Whelan. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Bride of Big Flats, N.Y. Predeceased by his brothers Michael (Mary), Edward “Ned” (Rita), Stan (Mary), Stephen and Jim (Marian). Cherished grandfather of Chad, Sydney, Devin, Bryan, Draike, Journey and Addler. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Saturday, January 4th, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, Chelmsford.
