The family announces, with sorrow, the passing of Jacques Allard in Sudbury on Tuesday, January 21st, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of Mona (née Martel) Allard of Sudbury. Son of the late Iréné and of the late Clarenda (née Sabourin) Allard. Loving father of Lorraine Allard (Clifford Munro) and Raymond Allard. Cherished grandfather of Julia and Andrew. Lovingly remembered by many relatives and friends. Jacques was a mailman for Canada Post for over 30 years. He was also a member of “La Chorale du Centenaire”. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury on Friday at 11 a.m.
