The family announces with sorrow his passing in Dowling on Wednesday, February 12th, 2014 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of Carmen (née Laroche) Whynott of Dowling. Son of the late Ralph and of the late Mildred (née Doliver) Whynott. Loving father of Richard (Susan) of Dowling and Kevin (Angèle) of Chelmsford. Dear brother of Mitchell (Karen), Doris Levey (George), Randy (Debbie) and Brenda Boutilier (Laurence) all of Liverpool, N.S. and Patsy Smith (Roland) of New Germany. Cherished grandfather of Brent, Cassandra, Emily, Katelyn and Adriana. Dear brother-in-law of Louise and Danny Besserer. Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles , cousins and friends. Ralph was a true outdoorsman. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed travelling and was at his happiest when surrounded by his family. He was retired from Inco Ltd. having worked in purchasing and warehousing for 30 years. In keeping with Ralph’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12th, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St-Bartholomew Church, Levack. Donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Chelmsford.
