Peacefully passed away with his family by his side on Friday, October 3rd, 2014 in Sudbury at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Léonard and Evelina (née Guérin) Vézina. Beloved husband of 55 years to Jeannine (née Pelland) Vézina. Loving father of Ginette (Vito Repele), Donald, André (Mellaney Dahl) and Nicole (Dominic Jacot). Cherished grandfather of Dayna, Josée, Erica, Jayde, Olivia and Timothy. Predeceased by his siblings; Armand, Lionel, Arthur, Omer, Edouard, Victor, Joseph, Lucille, Alma and Simone. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Tuesday, October 7th, 2014 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 8th, 2014 at 11 a.m. at l’Annonciation Church, Sudbury. Donations can be made (by cheque only) in François’ memory to the Health Sciences North Foundation.
