The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, November 11th, 2014 at the age of 76 years. Wife of the late Floyd Walker. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Alma (née Malenfant) Forget. Beloved mother of Alma Proteau (Roger) of Garson, Floyd Jr. (Keri) of Burlington, Barry (Katherine) and Ralph (Diane) both of Hanmer. Loving sister of Guy (Claudette) of Ottawa, Marie Serroul of Hanmer, Yolande Lelievre of North Bay and Morel (Hilda) of Burlington. Cherished grandmother 11 of and great-grandmother of 6. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the health care providers at Extendicare York and to the VON nurses for their kind and compassionate care. A very special thank you to her “sister” Angeline Brideau for her friendship. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th, 2014 at 3 p.m. in the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME Chapel, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury. As expressions of sympathy, donations (by cheque only) to the Ross Tilley Burn Centre – Sunnybrook Hospital would be appreciated.
