The family announces her passing in Sudbury, Tuesday December 23rd, 2014 at the age of 87. Daughter of the late Cyprien and Cecile (née Piche) Chartrand. Beloved wife of Edward Viau. Loving mother of Gerald Theoret (Diane), Lorraine (Karl Barrett), Jacques Theoret and ste-mother of Muriel (Kelvin Schmidt), Aurore (John Ribalkin ), Lorraine “Louie” Landry (Lucien), David (Joanne Viau) and mother-in-law of Monique Viau. Sadly missed by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, by her 13 grandchildren and her 17 great-grandchildren. Therese was a kind and generous person. She loved to cook, prepared amazing meals, playing cribbage and defeating her husband at cards. She was also a member of C.W.L. for 15 years. In keeping with Therese’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 3rd, 2015 at (time to be confirmed) in Holy Redeemer Church, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to H.S.N. or Sick Kids Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
