The family announces with sorrow her passing away in Chelmsford on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the age of 89 years. Wife of the late Eugene , predeceased May, 2013. Daughter of the late François and Melinda (née Rochon) Larcher. Beloved mother of Colette Miron (late Guy), Jocelyne Sullivan (Brien), Madeleine Brisson (late Michel) and Richard (Pierrette) all of Azilda, Maurice (Louise) of Chelmsford and André (Gracie) of Toronto. Predeceased in July, 2012, by her son Michel (Rose of Azilda). Dear sister of Estelle Gaudette (late Guy) and Laurent (Claire). Predeceased by her siblings; Jean-Noël, Yvette Lemire-Quenneville (late Ovila, late Antonio), Thérèse Aubin (late Jean-Baptiste), Cécile St-Onge (Romain of Azilda) and Gisèle Baribeau-Larcher (late Yvan). Cherished grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 11. Desneiges, along with her husband, Eugene, was an honorary member and a founder of the “Club accueil âge d’or” of Azilda. She was also a long time member of the “Fédération des femmes canadiennes françaises” of Azilda. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and nurses at St-Gabriel’s villa in High Falls for the exceptional care and compassion towards Desneiges. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Sunday, June 21st, 2015 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 22nd, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda.
