The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the age of 58 years. Beloved wife of Pat Valois of Chelmsford. Daughter of the late Daniel and the late Gertrude (née Lamothe) Lafontaine. Loving mother of Christine Valois (Alain Moncion) and Tricia Valois both of Chelmsford and Meagan Lawrence (David) of Lively. Dear sister of Daniel Lafontaine (Lucille), Connie Audette (Jean-Claude), Norm Lafontaine (Sandra) all of Chelmsford and Brenda Willett (Barry) of Azilda. Predeceased by her sister Linda. Cherished grandmother of Jude, Leah and Julien. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Family and friends were Sue’s passion and delight. She enjoyed spending time at camp, and loved her grandchildren dearly. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 RR 15, Chelmsford, Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 5:30 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel with a reception to follow. Sue’s wishes were to have any donations directed to Tricia Valois Education Fund (by cheque only).
