Avis de décès pour Jeannette Tremblay

It is with sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother on November 10, 2015. As per her wishes Jeannette passed away at home surrounded by her family and cat, Bubbles. Daughter of the late Victor and Bertha Fabre (Wilson). Beloved wife of 62 years, Leo Tremblay. Her spirit is carried on by her four children, Vicky (Richard), Michelle, Louise (Tom), Paul (Linda), 9 grandchildren Steven (Valerie), Danielle, Renée, Kirstin, Keisha, Isabella, TJ, Josée, Denis, three great grandchildren Mila, Jasmine, Macy as well as the large and ever loving family of Tremblays and friends. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from our mother: never leave the house without having your wardrobe coordinated. You can never have enough shoes, purses, jewelry, accessories or closet space. Always keep bowls of snacks out for guests, but it’s acceptable to eat the best and leave the rest for the guests. Holidays are for celebrating, decorate, decorate, inside and out. Eat chocolate daily!!, share only when caught. Keep the mind limber, do a daily puzzle or two, watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy daily. Be passionate, mom’s kitchen was always open, her recipes will live on for generations. Family is always first. Remember birthdays. Send cards, all occasions, preferably with cheques. Last but not least, be actively involved. Jeanette was part of the Tremblay Bookkeeping team for over 30 years. In her younger years she was involved in founding the guiding movement at Saint Jean Brebeuf Church. Jeanette was passionate about her work with Robin’s Hill. She devoted many hours to the creation of flower arrangements for Health Sciences North. She ran the flower shop for over twenty five years and involved all of her family on a “voluntold” basis as directed. Donations can be made (by cheque only) to the Iris Centre. The family expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the City of Lakes Health Team, Catherine and Dr. Charette, Shaw’s Pharmacy team, CCAC Palliative care team, Claire and Lise, the Bayshore Nursing team, Maureen, Sarah and Shelley and the Partners in Care team for their kind and compassionate care and support during Mom’s journey. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, Friday from 2-5 and 6:30-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury.
