It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Roger Raymond Proulx, on January 5th, 2016 at Health Sciences North, at the age of 76. Beloved husband of 55 years to Thérèse (née Lajeunesse) and cherished father to Christine Proulx (Gaston Brosseau) and Joanne Kimakowich (Perry). Loving grandfather to Jasmin Nault (Kayla Carrière), Maxime Vaillant, Michel Nault Jr. (Caroline Pollock) and Stéfanie Vaillant (Alex Bottigoni). Dear brother to Diane Dignard (Claude), Susan Blanchette (late Maurice) and predeceased by his sister Hélène Leduc (late Marcel). He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. He devoted 25 years as a bus driver for the City of Greater Sudbury Transit, enjoyed golf and had a passion for woodworking. Thank you to Health Sciences North 6th floor south tower medical staff for the excellent care and compassion they provided. The family will be welcoming guests on Thursday January 14th starting at 10:30 a.m. at Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda. A Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Chelmsford.
