It is with great sadness that the family announces her sudden passing in Sudbury on Sunday, January 10th, 2016 at the age of 73 years. Alvine will be lovingly remembered by her husband of over 25 years Roger Quirion and her children Réjeanne LeBlanc, Daniel Mercier (Linda), Suzanne Armstrong (Paul Chouinard), Christine Romansky (Barry Lacroix) and Céline Shiell. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren Natalie, Nadia, late Stephanie, Nicole, Carolyn, Roxanne and one great-granddaughter Alexandra. Sadly missed by many siblings and friends. She had such a "joie de vivre" and adored and cherished her children deeply. She enjoyed her friends and co-workers at Cecil Facer Youth Centre. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Friday, January 15th, 2016 from 3-6 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel.
