It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden death of Normand, beloved son of the late Rita (Courville) Fournier and Arthur Fournier, on February 11th 2016, at the age of 55. He is survived by brothers Pierre (June), Denis (Milissa), Michel (Renée) and Marc (Annie). He is remembered with love by Jessica, Joshua and Tricia. Norm was a caring, compassionate man who admired the incredible beauty of the natural world. His exceptional photography speaks to his passion for the preservation of the planet and of all living things. Norm’s great curiosity would entice him to hike just a little farther and to explore what was over the next ridge with the prospect of a unique photo opportunity. Camera in hand, Norm’s resolve was always to capture that perfect shot. He loved the outdoors and leaves fond memories with his brothers of camping in Killarney and canoe trips in Temagami. Norm loved deeply and completely. He will be missed. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, February 26th 2016 from 4pm to 7pm at the Cooperative Funeral Home at 222 Lasalle Blvd in Sudbury, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wild at Heart Wildlife Refuge Centre in Lively would be appreciated.
