It is with great sorrow that the family announces his unexpected death in Sudbury on Sunday, March 13th, 2016 at the age of 29 years. Cherished son of John Clifford Mavity and Shirley Karen Houston. Loving brother of Charles Edward Mavity (Christina) and Samantha Ann Mavity. Beloved godson of Philip and Jennifer Deacon, Roy and Kathy Amodeo, and Ann Censner. John gave unconditionally, listened without judgment, and saw the best in everyone, recognizing the strengths in their perceived flaws. He taught that who you are is enough. John faced the choice every day to be a good man and he succeeded.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Friday, March 18th, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. in the Chapel. Donations can be made by cheque or online to World Vision.
