After a brief and courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cindy on Monday, March 21st, 2016 at Maison Vale Hospice at the age of 57 years. She leaves behind her best friend, soulmate her husband Andy. She also leaves behind her sons Matthew (Samantha), Brandon and her daughter Brittany (friend Luc). Cherished grandmother of Mason. Cindy’s face lit up every time her grandson would visit. Beloved sister of Mark (Eileen). She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. She will also be missed by many friends. Predeceased by her sister Donna and her parents Hilliard and Gladys Walford. Cindy enjoyed travelling to southern locations and enjoyed a good glass of wine. Her furry companion Dallas will certainly miss her deeply. She worked for her husband as a bookkeeper for many years and loved her job. Andy always called her the world’s best bookkeeper. Cindy had a big heart and would make friends with everyone she met. She enjoyed get togethers with her close friends. We will all miss her deeply. She will always be in our hearts forever. Our family would like to thank CCAC, all PSWs, Nurses and Doctors that treated Cindy with the utmost compassion and dignity one could hope for. She spent her last weeks at Maison Vale Hospice and was treated like a princess. As per Cindy’s wishes there will be no visitation. Donations can be made by cheque or online in Cindy’s memory to the Maison Vale Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home, Sudbury.
