It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing on Friday, April 8, 2016 in Sudbury at 83 years of age. Husband of the late Leona (née Dignard). Son of the late Josephat and the late Eva (née Branconnier). Loving father of Pauline (Dave Schraeder) and Gaston (Pat). Sadly missed by his special friend Claudette Beauchamp. Dear brother of Huguette Hamel (late Maurice). Predeceased by his siblings Aurèle (late Laurette), Roland (late Hélène), Gertrude Lefebvre (late Léo), Gérard (Annette), Maurice (Aurore), Sylvio (Lina), Aimé (Dolores), and Normand (Claire). Special pépère of Amanda (Donny), Jenny (Jason), Tammy and grand-pépère of Ethan, Abby, Joel, and Mélanie. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, and Friday, April 15, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home Chapel, Sudbury.
