It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury at Health Sciences North on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Carol Ann Lazarovich. Loving father of Ronald Viau, Natalie Viau and Nancie Omand (Jason). Cherished grandfather of Alisha, Catlin, Lance, Brent and Wyatt. Favorite uncle of Willy Larose. Sadly missed by many siblings, extended family and friends. René will be remembered for his great sense of humor and for his work ethic where he was known as “Castor”. He will always be loved and greatly missed by all who knew him. In keeping with René’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.
