The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Val Caron, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Claudette Ratelle-D’Aoust (née Roy). Son of the late Rémi and the late Cécile (née Bonin) D’Aoust. Loving father of Phil D’Aoust (Shelley) of Chelmsford, Gisèle Matthews (Andrew) of Calgary, Elaine Fielding (Brian) of Sudbury, Diane Ratelle of Garson, Jeannine Dowd of Barrie, Carole Birmingham (Jay) of Whitby and Denise Plante (Dan) of Val Caron. Cherished grandfather of Devin, Jon, Catherine, Spencer (Luiza), Jeremy, Grace, Tina, Erika (Mika), Darryl (Dee), Carrie-Anne (Grant), Chanelle, Caley, Dominique and Danika and great-grandfather of Ayden, Hutson, Amelia and Connor. Predeceased by his brother Jean-Guy D’Aoust (late Réjeanne). Loving uncle of Lise, Denise, Roxanne and Monique. Many people will remember Roger as he worked in sales for many years. He was well known and loved by many in the community. He will be deeply missed. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. Sudbury, Wednesday, May 18th , 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 19th, 2016 at 11a.m. at L’Annonciation Church, Sudbury.
