The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Estelle (née Prévost) Gauthier of Sudbury. Son of the late Octave and the late Rosa (née Mathias) Gauthier. Loving father of Donald (Sylvia) of Sudbury, Diane Gauthier (Marcel) of Ottawa, Rejean Gauthier of Val Caron, Jeannette (Ron) Valiquette, Joanne Gauthier (Dana) both of Val Caron and Roger (Denise) of Hanmer. Predeceased by his son Richard and daughter Angele. He will be sadly missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Gauthier was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, council 10602 of Val Therese and of the 4th degree, Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Assembly. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Sunday, May 22nd, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, May 23rd, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville, Val Thérèse.
