It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julie Quesnel on June 15, 2016, at the age of 41 years. Julie is the beloved and cherished daughter of Raymond and Pauline (Lecoupe) Quesnel. She is sadly missed by her sister Lise Quesnel Tullis and brother in-law Cam Tullis. Grand-daughter of Paul and Beatrice (Gratton) Lecoupe (both predeceased) and Raoul (predeceased) and Jeannine (Paiement) Quesnel. She was the special friend of Lise Renaud (Guy), Erik (godson) and Matieu. Julie graduated with a Masters in Counselling Psychology having previously completed an Honours Bachelor degree at Laurentian University in psychology. She was a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrics, and Psychotherapists (OACCPP) and also a registered Psychotherapist in Ontario. Julie had a private practice which brought hope, guidance, and generosity to many clients. Julie was a member of the Confed Rock Band where she played the saxophone during her high school years. Julie was very passionate about ecological issues always looking to help the environment where she could. Being very passionate about animals she was a foster cat mother and loved her many dogs. She leaves behind Freddy, her most recent fur baby. She was creative with art, enjoyed camping and gardening and was an enthusiastic card player. Julie will always be remembered for her infectious smile, renowned laughter and positive attitude. She had recently joined the Red Hat Society and liked attending their functions.
Donations in memory of Julie Quesnel to the Canadian Mental Health Association (Sudbury Chapter) or PetSave can be made by cheque or online at www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
