The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Monday, June 20, 2016 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of Pauline (née Lanthier) Wasyliw of Val Caron. Son of the late Steve and the late Lily (née Novak) Wasyliw. Loving father of Pierrette Doyon (Michael), Deedee Arbuckle (Kevin Cook), Allan (Sarah Timm) and Tamara Streitenberger (Mark). Dear brother of Nicholas (late Gail), Ann Odnokon (late Charles), Elsie Beer (Earl) and Sally Hunter (late Gary). Predeceased by his brother Michael (Yvette). Cherished grandfather of Kora Boucher (Chuck), Taina Golding (Dexter), Hailey Wasyliw, Molly Patrick, Clay and Fallon Streitenberger and great-grandfather of Charlie Rose Boucher. Paul lived life to the fullest; he loved to sing, play guitar and dance. He was a family man who always made family his number one priority. The family expresses their most sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff of the cancer center & chemotherapy area for their kind and compassionate care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Friday, June 24, 2016 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St-Kevin’s Parish, Val Therese.
