The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Monday, June 27, 2016 at the age of 94 years. Beloved husband of Hélène (née Ledoux) Charette. Son of the late Aldema and the late Rose (née Lemieux) Charette. Loving father of Gérald (Maureen Kincardine), René, Robert and Joanne (Gilles Moncion). Predeceased by his siblings Armand (late Mathilde), Roméo (late Rachelle), Rollande (late Harold and late Mike Dwyer), Lionel and Simone (late Laurent). Cherished grandfather of David (Randi), Carrie, Rob (Kirsten), Christie (Jeff Allen), Danielle and great-grandfather of Brandon, Kyler, Emma, Hayli, Tanner, Brooklyn, Hannah, Cassie, Allie, Ben, Lola and Dominique. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Paul worked at Inco from 1941-1972 in Coniston until closing then was transferred to Nickel refinery to 1982. He was a blacksmith and then went in the shop till retirement in 1982. Paul will be remembered for his love of fishing, hunting at camp and his excellent work ethic. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4p.m. in the Chapel.
