The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Saturday July 2, 2016 at the age of 86 years. Daughter of the late Elzear and the late Rose-Anna (nee Poirier) Lecuyer. Wife of the late Bernard Campeau. Loving mother of Guy (Iris). Dear sister of Maurice Lecuyer (late Rejeanne), Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Lucien (late Yvette and late Marge), Therese Simpson (late George), Norbert (Therese), Meline Gauvin (late Joseph) and Yvonne Ouellette (late Roland). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Genevieve (Tony), Matthieu, Larissa, Leah, Mendy and her great grandchildren, Ocean, Jaydon, Anthony, Rylan and Zakk. My mom loved life, was gracious, giving, patient, loving and friendly. She had many hobbies including petit point, crochet, knitting, paper tole and quilting creating beautiful wall hangings. Over the years she always welcomed my friends into her life, supported my life adventures and embraced Iris as my wife and made her the daughter she never had. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Pioneer Manor. They were always very kind to both my mom and dad. Also a huge hug and thank you to her niece Denise for being there for her and making her laugh. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 4 p.m. in the funeral chapel. Donations by (cheque or online at www.missionoftears.ca) to the Mission of Tears would be greatly appreciated.
