The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the age of 98 years. Wife of the late Gérard Henri. Daughter of the late Olivier and the late Mercedes (née Tremblay) Lalonde. Beloved mother of Rhéal (late Gilberte), Fleurette Rioux (late René), Richard (Claire), Robert (Rachel), Lucille Lavallée (Claude), Nicole Brown, André and Carole Carrière. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Armand (Thérèse), Ovila (Nicole), Aurel (late Regina), Emile (late Florence), Omer (late Diane), Roland (late Dolly) and Marie-Rose Marinier (late Ovila). Cherished grandmother of 19, great-grandmother of 26 and great-great-grandmother of 7. Sadly missed by her 2 sisters-in-law Gertrude, Carmen and by her brother-in-law Aurel. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Pioneer Manor for the exceptional care given to Marie.
