The family announces with great sorrow his passing at his residence, Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the age of 67 years. Husband of Rita (née Ethier) Gauthier. Son of the late Noël and of the late Gabrielle Gauthier. Beloved father of Francis Gauthier, Patrick Gauthier (Melanie Lebel) both of Sudbury, Josée Doiron (Yves) of Chelmsford and Marco Gauthier of Barrie. Dear brother of Liette, Yvan, Michelle, Francine and Danielle. Predeceased by his brothers Gerard and Jacques. Cherished grandfather of Jade, Shawn-D, Sydney, Theresa, Kayla, Izabella, Hailey, Alyssa, Hayden, Annabelle, Alexander, Ian, Damon, Andrea and great-grandfather of Jedidah. As per Gaetan`s request, there will be no visitation. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
