Pauline, 69 years of age, daughter of Loretta (née Ferguson) and Paul Doyon who surrounded her with love. Pauline adored her children André (Lisa, and grandchildren Benjamin and Brett), Mathieu, and Julie (Dave).
Sister of Helen (Sharon), Louise (David), Rose-Marie (George) and Richard (Nicole). Matante to Emmett and Wyatt, Justin and Robin, Paul and Anne-Marie. Cherished by her many friends, especially Walter Freitas, and supported by the wonderful community of St. Charles. Pauline was a gifted teacher to young children, an extraordinary writer and ethnologist of franco-Ontario folklore and song. Throughout her life, Pauline had many health challenges, which she faced with incredible courage. As per Pauline’s request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to celebrate Pauline’s life will be announced at a later date. In memoriam donations to one of your choice, to the Centre franco-ontarien de folklore, Sudbury Youth Orchestra, St. Charles Library Foundation, Sudbury Women’s Genevra House, Easter Seals, Sudbury Theatre Centre, or the Sudbury Children’s Treatment Centre would be gratefully appreciated.
